For renovation, and even in new build projects, correct planning & design and construction are the decisive factors for ensuring the quality of the façades to be installed. The type of system used for curtain walling and the appropriate materials are decisive for effective and above all for durable protection of the building. At the same time, because of the large number of different materials, the building can also be enhanced from an architectural point of view.

Thermal insulation materials, substructure and cladding materials; these are the three components, which are coordinated with each other to obtain an optimum façade. The constructional separation of the functions: thermal insulation of the building with simultaneous weathering protection, sound insulation and fire protection with simultaneous fulfilment of high architectural standards for the overall external appearance of the building, require a high degree of construction certainty. We leave no phase of the installation unchecked. These components of the curtain walling are continuously checked by our construction supervision personnel.

Tried and tested rules and regulations that are continuously developed further and the statutory provisions give us the necessary construction certainties. We generally only use materials that are approved and certified to German standards. Technical security and architectural design options make for an extensive range of interwoven relationships.

The three components of a quality façade

  • The mineral thermal insulation is non-vapour retardant and water repellent. It can be supplied in many different insulation thicknesses with different thermal transmittances. Is lightweight and easy to work with.
  • The substructure is the structural link between the load-bearing wall and the chosen façade cladding. It is anchored using anchor fastenings with national technical approvals. The substructure is installed true in alignment and plumb with multi-dimensional adjustability. This enables any unevenness in the surface of the structure to be levelled out. At the same time, structural joints can be easily included. Thermal bridges are also minimised by using additional substructure elements, or are virtually excluded by framework substructures.
  • The outward appearance of the curtain walling is decisively important. Here the choice of cladding material plays a large role. The requirements and quality control of the evenness, joint pattern, connections to other building elements such as windows, doors, gates, other structures, etc. are our highest priority.

  • Metal and composite metal elements (steel, aluminium, stainless steel, copper, and many more)
  • Ceramic and fine stoneware
  • high-pressure laminate panels (HPL) and fibre-reinforced construction materials (fibrated cement boards)
